Zachary Vesoulis is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Newborn Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at Washington University. His research is focused on the development of computational techniques to capture multi-modal physiologic data in conjunction with clinical and imaging data to generate models of neonatal brain injury including intraventricular hemorrhage, cerebellar hemorrhage, white matter injury, and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. The goal of these models is to illuminate mechanisms of injury, identify opportunities for patient-centered intervention, and improve long term neurodevelopmental outcomes.
