Session
Description: This postgraduate course will cover the entire spectrum of research into necrotizing enterocolitis. Theme 1 will be a great session to learn about research in the field spanning pre-clinical, clinical, translational, artificial intelligence, and implementation science. The session will interweave the personal stories of researchers with the research interests and experiences of the audience. Theme 2 will be centered around a vision to build a world without necrotizing enterocolitis. We will focus on opportunities in clinical care improvements, patient-family and clinician-researcher partnerships, and new therapies for the disease. We will discuss how broad stakeholders, including industry and regulatory agencies, can accelerate this vision with a session selected specifically to bring together diverse stakeholders. The course will leave the next generation of clinicians and scientists energized to work towards a world without NEC, with a focus on collaboration and partnerships.
