The CoSense® ETCOc Monitor, from Capnia, Inc., is a simple and non-invasive breath test, that offers early and precise measurement of hemolysis and neurotoxic risk by detecting elevated levels of unconjugated bilirubin that could lead to conditions like hemolytic jaundice and Kernicterus. This test is performed bedside with a nasal cannula to collect a breath sample, enabling clinicians to obtain results within minutes.
