Session
Description: This is the second annual PAS Behavioral Health SIG. Given the enthusiasm of participants from last year, we will start with an update from focus group participants and work accomplished since last year's SIG. We will next have a presentation on collaborative care and child psychiatry access programs followed by facilitated small group breakout sessions arranged by the following themes: perinatal/infant mental health and comprehensive developmental screening in early childhood; implementing parent supports and training programs; screening and assessment of mental health conditions in primary care; collaborative and integrative care; school-based mental health initiatives; and trauma informed care. The breakout groups will report back to the larger group.
This SIG will include both an academic and public health focus with practical applications to clinical care and practice.
An interprofessional audience is welcomed with attendees from academic and primary care pediatrics/adolescent medicine, developmental-behavioral pediatrics, psychiatry and behavioral health, education and community-based organizations,
