Description: The Latino Child Health Research SIG will host a panel discussion with Latinx/é clinicians scientist about their respective careers in academic medicine We will spend the first 10 minutes introducing the SIG and speakers followed by 30 minutes of discussion about what it is to be Latinx/é in academic medicine and each speaker will share their career path and answer questions related to the learning objectives. We will then spend the next 30 minutes doing 'speed mentoring' during which each panelist will rotate among tables of attendees to have a more intimate discussion and answer individual questions. Depending on who is in attendance, we plan to have attendees in similar career stages sit together. We will reserve the last 20 minutes for SIG business. Panelists will include:
