Session
Description: Major professional journals play a key role in reviewing and disseminating new findings in pediatric research. What do you need to consider as you prepare your manuscript for submission? How do you select the most appropriate journal? How do you write a compelling cover letter? With more than 190 journals actively publishing pediatric manuscripts, the publishing landscape has undergone dramatic changes. This panel discussion will include Editors-in-Chief of JAMA Pediatrics, the Journal of Pediatrics, and The Lancet Child and Adolescent Health. Discussion will include issues such as conflicts of interest, impact factors, predatory journals, journal retractions, the use of generative artificial intelligence, and other topics.
